Using the city’s remaining resources, people send out a flight mission to undiscovered lands, seeking a new habitat. Kali is enlisted on the mission as humanity’s beacon and symbol of hope.

She is rescued by an under-sea civilisation. There she uncovers truths about humanity’s fall and enters an abstract, philosophical discourse with the enlightened yet estranged beings about the rise and fall of modern civilisation.
